I turned 23 the other day. My wonderful friend Jennifer gave me these beautiful sunflowers. I have always wanted flowers for my birthday and I even got a little teary-eyed towards the end of my birthday because I was so happy. You see, I really adore flowers.
Anyway. This little sunflower series is inspired by Parker Fitzgerald's spring flowers shoot he did for Kinfolk's Volume #7 magazine. This shoot was back in 2013 when I first discovered this photo by Fitzgerald. You can see the rest of his shoot here.
I have always wanted to recreate that photo so I guess here it is. I really was just doing whatever in front of someone's bush ledge/thing or whatever it's called.
